After Arsene Wenger left the Emirates in 2018, the Spaniard took over, and in his first season, he guided the Gunners to the Europa League final.

However, Emery’s 18-month tenure at Arsenal came to an end when the team opted to fire him following a poor start to his second campaign.

By defeating Arsenal in the previous season and denying them the Premier League title, Emery exacted his retribution.

According to CaughtOffside, the manager of Villa wants to sign a player from Riccardo Calafiori,, this summer.

In 2019, under Emery’s leadership, the Scot became a member of the team. After sustaining an injury upon arrival, it took him some time to fully recover, but after he made his Emirates debut, he quickly won over the fans.

But throughout the years, injuries have been particularly brutal to Tierney. Because of this, he was deemed unnecessary at Arsenal and was sent on loan to Real Sociedad for the 2023–2024 season.

Now that Tierney is back, he regrettably has new injuries. As a result, he missed the entire preseason and is not even close to being at the top of Arteta’s hierarchy.

Unexpectedly, nevertheless, CaughtOffside unexpectedly asserts that “Arteta wants Tierney to stay with the team and play an important role next season.”

Timber,  Aston Villa—are eager to sign him.

Then, it’s been reported that Arsenal may consider bids between £25 million and £30 million if they can’t convince Tierney to stay.

Tierney will never be able to rejoin this Arsenal team, not even if he can regain his peak form and become fully fit again.

In the ranking order, the Scot is ahead of Oleksandr Zinchenko, Riccardo Calafiori, Jurrien Timber, Takehiro Tomiyasu, and even Jakub Kiwior.

Since Tierney is incapable of filling the role of an inverted full-back like the majority of the players mentioned above, he was originally loaned out in 2023.

We cannot imagine a scenario in which Tierney plays any kind of major role for Arsenal again, whether he stays or leaves.

If Emery wants to sign him and is ready to pay big money, we’re sure Arsenal would welcome that offer
