After winning the 2019 NBA Championship, the Raptors have spiraled toward the bottom of the league, and last year won just 25 games. Unsurprisingly, against most teams in the league the Raptors have a tied or losing record in their last 10 games. Interestingly enough, the Raptors have won their last game against just six foes, and they only have one “winning streak” — three straight over the Charlotte Hornets
On the far other end of the spectrum, which teams are clobbering the Raptors right now? Some teams are coming out ahead, but a handful have Toronto’s number. Let’s look at which teams those are, and when the Raptors can first get revenge in the upcoming 2024-25 NBA season.
We start with something of a shocker, as the Utah Jazz have not been much of a powerhouse over the last could of seasons. Since trading off of Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell the Jazz have been firmly in the lottery, but even so, they are 7-3 in their last 10 games against the Raptors and have won 4 straight over them.
That includes a 32-point beatdown the Jazz laid on the Raptors last January, one of Pascal Siakam’s last games for the team. Utah put up 145 points and had three players score 20+ points. Toronto’s last win over Utah came in January of 2022, when Fred VanVleet dropped a 37 point tripe double.
