The Fowler Automotive Group has been a sponsor of the Oklahoma Sooners football team for the past few years. With NIL growing more and more common, they want to diversify their business outside of football.

The well-known car dealership, which has shops in Colorado and Oklahoma, is increasing their degree of participation with Sooner players. For the 2024-25 academic year, Fowler Automotive Group has more than increased the amount of athletes they are working with.

During football games this season, advertisements featuring over fifty sportsmen from various sports will be shown. Their collaboration with Learfield’s Sooner Sports Properties made this arrangement possible.

Football players’ appearances were finished by NIL collectives. As part of the agreement, automobiles will also be given to 22 athletes.

Along with football and softball, gymnastics and basketball stars are slated to be highlighted as well. Among the football team representatives are Gavin Sawchuk, Jacob Sexton, Joshua Bates, Eddy Pierre-Louis, Nic Anderson and Damonic Williams.

The commercials’ concept is reminiscent of ESPN’s renowned “This is SportsCenter” advertisements, which have been running for years. It’s an entertaining method to engage gamers in brand promotion while offering them an opportunity to make money off of their name, likeness, and image.

Fowler Automotive CEO Jonathan Fowler told On3, “With the entrance into the SEC coming, and this being the first year of that, the ability to pull this campaign off with these athletes has just been incredible.” “You mention guys like Nic.”
