Sad News: Wrexham Confirm Released List With 19 players leaving including….

Despite having a great start to their League One season, Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson made a suggestion that the team might yet make fresh additions.

In the summer transfer window, the Red Dragons added a number of new players to bolster their roster, including goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo from Arsenal on a permanent basis. With seven points from their first three games in League One, the club is off to a great start thanks to the new acquisitions.Wales defeat at World Cup: Wrexham owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney's messages of support | Daily Mail Online

But manager Parkinson gave a strong indication that the team owned by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney might still add players before the transfer market shuts on Friday. The English third division allows clubs to sign up to 22 players, not including goalkeepers and members of the U-21 squad.

The Wrexham manager told reporters, “I’m not getting carried away. We will relocate when the proper player becomes available. We do not believe we have solved the problem; rather, we believe that a couple of our boys need to be placed on loan. However, certain players at this football team have earned the opportunity to prove they belong here, and they are currently performing admirably.”

The Welsh team’s next League One matchup is against Peterborough, where they will look to extend their winning streak.
