An open letter from Reagan Campbell-Gillard to Nathan Cleary fans and the entire NRL community….

To the NRL community, and especially to the loyal fans of Nathan Cleary,

I’m writing this letter not only as a teammate but also as a member of the wider rugby league family who deeply values the spirit and camaraderie that define our game.

Recently, I’ve seen the attention and passion that Nathan Cleary has received both on and off the field, and I want to take a moment to speak to the wider community about the character of this young man. While Nathan’s skills and achievements on the field are undeniable, it’s the person he is away from the spotlight that stands out the most. His humility, leadership, and commitment to his teammates and the game are qualities that deserve recognition.

I know that being in the public eye brings its fair share of pressure, but Nathan has always handled himself with maturity and grace. Whether it’s his determination in clutch moments or his consistent drive to improve, Cleary represents everything that is great about rugby league: hard work, passion, and respect for the game.
