BREAKING NEWS: Bruce Brown social media posts make it look like Nuggets return on his mind. Read details 👇…

Former Denver Nuggets fan-favorite Bruce Brown has bounced around since leaving town in the summer of 2023.

That doesn’t mean he doesn’t have his eyes on a reunion with the franchise.

Brown is a free agent this offseason after spending time the last two NBA seasons with the Indiana Pacers, Toronto Raptors and New Orleans Pelicans.

He recently attended a Nuggets playoff game in which Brown went on the local TV broadcast and said “I miss playing here.”

Brown added that if the opportunity presents itself to return to Denver he’ll “look over it.”

On Thursday, the Nuggets made the hiring of head coach David Adelman official, stripping the interim tag in a news conference led by team president and governor Josh Kroenke.

And Bruce Brown took to social media to share a couple of posts that make it look like a homecoming is something on his mind.

In the first post, Brown is wearing a Colorado Avalanche hat. He was always loyal to the hockey team during his tenure here. In the second post, Brown shared the news from ESPN insider Shams Charania that Adelman was given the full-time gig.

Based on attending a playoff game, saying what he said on the broadcast, and these two Instagram stories, it sure seems like Bruce Brown is angling for another shot with the Nuggets.

He was a key bench piece when they won the championship in 2023, including averaging 12 points per game to go with four rebounds and 1.9 assists during the playoffs. Denver went 16-4 over that stretch to earn the team’s first and only title.

We’ll see what happens, but given the Nuggets lack of depth that hurt them the last two seasons in Round 2, you have to wonder if both sides would be open to getting back together.

And it appears to be pretty clear which way Bruce Brown is leaning.
