Fanduel Sports Network’s John Sadak and Jeff Brantley addressed the strike zone of domestic plate umpire Carlos Torres amid the 9th inning of Wednesday’s Reds-Royals arrangement finale in Kansas City, in no time after Torres catapulted Reds pitcher Scratch Martinez in conjunction with director Terry Francona.
Francona cleared out the burrow to contend with Torres after Matt McLain was called out on strikes. Martinez contended from the hole.
“The moo strike has been so difficult all diversion,” Sadak said amid the broadcast. “Seeker Greene got burned on it.
The foot of the strike zone has been nonexistent here this evening,” Brantley included. “And that’s all fine and great, but do not alter it presently.”
“Right, is that a strike? Most days, yes,” Sadak answered. “But most of the diversion, it hadn’t been.”
