Arsenal’s clinical finishing was the difference in a 2-0 win over Aston Villa on Saturday.

The Gunners dominated possession for large spells but escaped two bad misses from Ollie Watkins, the latter thanks to a superb David Raya  save, before Leandro Trossard emerged off the bench to open the scoring.

Thomas Partey then made it two from range.

“I’m on the floor so I tried to get up, I see the rebound and just try to react as quick as possible. I just put my hand there and luckily enough nobody was around, it’s a fantastic save.

“It’s repetition. Sometimes you do drills when you save one ball and get up quick to save another, this time it’s paid off.

Made a stunning save early in the second-half when Ollie Watkins looked certain to score. Was excellent all game and commanded his area well.
