Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase has been reported to have a separated shoulder.

 

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase sustained a separated right shoulder during a game against the Minnesota Vikings. The injury occurred during a 24-yard reception in the fourth quarter of the Bengals’ 27-24 overtime win. Chase briefly returned to the contest but was ruled out in overtime. Although the severity of the injury remains unclear, it is possible that Chase could be available for Cincinnati’s road game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday. Further testing will be conducted on Sunday.

Chase, a 23-year-old two-time Pro Bowl selection, leads the Bengals in catches, receiving yards, and touchdowns in 14 games this season. He has 261 receptions for 3,657 yards and 29 touchdowns in 43 career games. Chase was selected with the fifth overall pick of the 2021 NFL Draft.
