Even though he may have amassed an additional £250,000 in wealth, snooker icon Ronnie O’Sullivan demonstrated to the sports community that he is a man of modest tastes.

Only a few days after winning the UK Championship, snooker legend Ronnie O’Sullivan was seen smoking a cigarette at the bus stop.

When O’Sullivan, 47, defeated Ding Junhui at the York Barbican Center, he became the competition’s youngest and oldest winner. After a difficult match, O’Sullivan prevailed 10-7 over the Chinese talent.

Exactly thirty years had passed since he defeated Stephen Hendry in 1997 to become the competition’s youngest-ever winner before winning his 40th career title. Even though O’Sullivan had won in York and was now worth an additional £250,000, he was not in the mood for some Cuban cigars by the beach.
