With two games remaining, the Seattle Seahawks need to keep winning to secure a wild card berth. They also face the similarly motivated Pittsburgh Steelers on New Year’s Eve in a Week 17 battle that could have a significant impact on the postseason.

The Seahawks, who now have an 8-7 record after defeating the Titans twice in a row, are the last wild card team in the NFC, after the Cowboys and Rams. With a decisive rout of the Bengals last weekend, the Steelers maintained their tenuous postseason aspirations and continued to be a contender for the last AFC wild card slot.

Given Minnesota’s back-to-back losses the previous two weeks, Seattle has a little more breathing room heading into this weekend. Even if Seattle loses, they won’t be out of the running no matter
