Live game updates for Cowboys vs. Lions.

The Cowboys suffered greatly on that two-day road journey around the East Coast. After losing to the Bills and Dolphins, Dallas is back home on a two-game losing run. On Saturday night, they will meet the NFC North champion Lions. Dallas has a 15-game home winning streak at AT&T Stadium that dates back to the previous season. On September 11, 2022, the Cowboys suffered their last home setback at the hands of the Tampa Bay Bucs in Week 1. Dallas, who is currently 10-5, just lost its last two games for the first time since losing to the Chiefs and Raiders in Weeks 11 and 12 of 2021.

Something significant to do tonight? Run-stopping, so Buddy Johnson, the linebacker, and defensive tackle Carl Davis from the Cowboys practice squad will start this one. The Lions have won their first NFC North division title and first division crown since 1993, when they were a member of the former NFC Central, thanks to the guidance of former Cowboys tight end Dan Campbell. Additionally, Detroit has won more than ten games for just the third time since 1995.

In the penultimate game of the 2023 schedule, both clubs are hoping for a strong performance as they have secured postseason places.

Wide receiver CeeDee Lamb of the Cowboys needs three catches to surpass the team record of  receptions set by Hall of Famer and former Cowboys star Michael Irvin. With 109, Lamb leads the league right now. With a career-high 1,424 yards, he leads in yardage and is tied for fourth with nine touchdowns. Lamb has the opportunity to become the first Cowboys receiver to score a touchdown in eight straight games. Dallas may tie its record against Detroit with six straight wins, including playoff victories, if they prevail. The prior period ran from 1963 to 1977. If Detroit wins, it will be the first time since 1972 that they do not have back-to-back losses in a season.

ESPN will broadcast the event during halftime. Jerry Jones had finally granted former coach Jimmy Johnson access to the Cowboys’ cherished Ring of Honor.
