GOODNEWS: Rugby League Coach Was Very Excited To Rich The Super League Final He Promise That………..

The Wigan Warriors will always remember their 2023 campaign as one of their best because they won the Super League at Old Trafford.

After a dismal 2021, Wigan’s 2022 season was a ray of hope as they won the Challenge Cup for a record 20 times against the Huddersfield Giants and finished second in the league under Matt Peet’s leadership.

They were the favorites to play St. Helens in the Grand Final, but they lost to Leeds Rhinos, which gave them a lot of motivation for 2023.

After finishing first in the league, the Warriors easily defeated Hull KR in the semi-final to earn a spot at Old Trafford, where they defeated Catalans Dragons 10-2 with three goals from Harry Smith and a try from Liam Marshall.

This winter, they lost some important players like Morgan Smithies, but they also added some huge stars like Luke Thompson and Kruise Leeming.

As part of their dual registration arrangement, the Warriors traveled to the Midlands Hurricanes for their opening game of the season. Wakefield Trinity and the Warriors have also reached an agreement.

Wigan Warriors win first game of 2024

In their first game of 2024, Wigan took victory, fielding a roster packed of academy players, including the sons of former St Helens and Huddersfield Giants star Keith Mason and George O’Loughlin, the son of Wigan Warriors hero Sean O’Loughlin.

Despite the weather, the Warriors made the trip to the Midlands for the match. The Hurricanes, coached by former Bradford Bulls manager Mark Dunning, jumped out to a 10-0 lead after tries from winger Jason Bass, Jon-Luke Kirby, and Brad Billsborough. Wigan took a 12-10 lead at halftime thanks to scores from Ryan Brown and Taylor Kerr.

Bass’s second attempt gave the Hurricanes the lead back. However, Brown and Kerr each scored one more goal to put the Super League Champions ahead.

Following that, prop Sam Bowring gave the Hurricanes a response, making the score 24–20, but they were unable to rally and win.
