BREAKING NEWS: MINNESOTA VIKINGS FIVE LEGEND COACH/PLAYER THAT HAVE BEEN AWARDS BY…………

There are no Vikings coaches/players that are AP Award finalists.

There are arguments to be made for Ivan Pace Jr., Brian Flores, and Danielle Hunter being left out of these choices.

The winners of this year’s main awards will be revealed on February 8th during the NFL Honors program, which was announced on Thursday by the NFL and the Associated Press. No coaches or players from the Vikings were selected.

The winners are as follows:

  • Maxx Crosby, DE, Las Vegas Raiders
  • Myles Garrett, DE, Cleveland Browns
  • Micah Parsons, LB, Dallas Cowboys
  • T.J. Watt, LB, Pittsburgh Steelers

Which Vikings coaches or players made the cut out of these five groups? You may argue in favor of a few. Ivan Pace Jr. is positive that he was among the league’s top five defensive rookies this season.

The biggest letdown might be Brian Flores, who led the Vikings’ defense to remarkable success in the absence of several well-known players or stars. He made the most of underappreciated players like Pace, Josh Metellus, D.J. Wonnum, and Camryn Bynum with his own style and variety of approaches.

Though it’s difficult to argue too strongly against the OROY and DPOY candidates, Jordan Addison and Danielle Hunter also have outside arguments. Naturally, if he had been healthy the whole season, reigning OPOY Justin Jefferson would have been a contender for a back-to-back.
