JUST IN: Dallas Cowboys Coach Was Fired And New Coach Announce In………..

The Dallas Cowboys have an intriguing vacancy with the chance to coach NFL great linebacker Micah Parsons and one of the finest defenses in the league after former defensive coordinator Dan Quinn accepted the post as the new head coach of the Washington Commanders.

There are still several alternatives for defensive coordinator, even if sadly many of the finest applicants have already been hired.

The Cowboys have already conducted interviews with Mike Zimmer, a former member of the Minnesota Vikings, as one of those alternatives.

Ron Rivera, the former head coach of the Commanders, is a further possibility for Dallas, according to Jonathan Jones of NFL on CBS.

They will shortly be interviewing Rivera.

The Cowboys went into the offseason with everyone expecting big things to happen after an incredible collapse in the NFL playoffs, falling to the Green Bay Packers, an upstart, at A&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

First off, while it was widely believed that head coach Mike McCarthy was under pressure and would probably be fired, the team’s hierarchy decided to offer him a vote of confidence and kept him on for the upcoming campaign.

Quinn was the front-runner to become the Seattle Seahawks’ head coach following Pete Carroll’s unannounced move into a new position with the team.

As previously mentioned, Quinn just accepted a position with the Commanders, leaving Rivera with significant responsibilities in Dallas should he be recruited by the Cowboys.
