JUST IN: Atlanta Braves Legend Player Announce His Retirement In…………..

Is 2024 going to be Jesse Chavez’s last season? Should he finish his career in Atlanta?

Despite their busy summer, the Braves have failed to make the move that nearly every Braves fan has been waiting for: re-signing Jesse Chavez.

There had been some conjecture that the 40-year-old righty may be retiring due to his status as a free agent, but Chavez dispelled that notion by stating on MLB Network Radio that he intends to play one more season.

This is the ultimate full circle" "Just his presence in the pen is gonna be a boost" - Atlanta Braves fans react to Jesse Chavez rejoining the club less than a month

Chavez said to the network, “I think this is probably gonna be it,” alluding to the 2024 season. He expressed his wish to leave baseball in the same condition that he entered it: in good health. The 16-year veteran stated that after giving it his all in the forthcoming season, he intends to pursue a career in teaching.

Chavez joined the Braves for the first time in 2010 and left for the last season, naturally. He has spent four seasons with the team.

Even though Braves fans would want to see Uncle Jesse back with the team, Chavez will still need to find a team to play for in 2024. However, the team may not have enough room for him.
