DAILY REPORT: Brian Snitker angrily asked for his resignation and……….

Atlanta Braves manager Brian Snitker has been under fire from fans after a bullpen error cost them the game against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The Braves took an early lead on Monday’s series opener against the Dodgers but they ultimately lost the game 8-6 after Snitker’s bullpen management backfired on the team. Fans were infuriated with the veteran manager and took to social media to voice their anger.

Brian Snitker is a veteran manager who has been involved in the MLB since 1985, first as a coach and now as a manager. He was appointed as the Atlanta Braves manager in 2016, replacing Fredi González, who was fired.

He has been held in high regard in the last couple of years after the Braves’ exceptional performances in 2021 which brought home the World Series title. This season, however, fans have not been happy with the manager after a few costly errors early in the season.

The Atlanta Braves made a great start to the 2023 MLB season, climbing to the top of the NL East table early and maintaining distance from the rest of the pack. However, they have had a few bad results in the past couple of weeks and all fingers point towards manager Brian Snitker.

In their latest defeat against the Dodgers, Snitker decided to throw in struggling pitcher A.J. Minter in the sixth innings, who gave away three hits in which the Dodgers increased their lead by 2 runs and ultimately took the game away from the Braves.

Fans were outraged by the loss and blasted the manager on social media: “Snitker has been crap with his bullpen decisions for years and gets a free pass,” “I personally agree with your view on Snitker and he belongs managing in the Triple A.”

Other reactions followed:

Despite the Atlanta Braves’ latest defeat against the Los Angeles Dodgers, they remain on top of the NL East table with a healthy lead ahead of the New York Mets in second place.

While Stinker has been criticized in recent weeks for his bullpen management, the Braves have been a high-scoring team with one of the best records in the MLB this season.

It actually started before the game when manager Brian Snitker changed his lineup ahead of the first playoff game. Fans didn’t like that one bit.

Then Snitker took out pitcher Spencer Strider despite his fervent protestations in the dugout in the middle of the seventh inning with the Braves down 2-0.

went into the MLB playoffs with their eye on a World Series run. But Game 1 proved they need to keep their eyes on the ground in front of them so they don’t trip up in the NLDS first.

The Phillies grabbed a 3-0 lead late in the game while tensions flared in Atlanta in the dugout, in the stands and on Twitter.
