SADLY: As Josh Heupel lost his daughter during………

One of the great things about the Tennessee Vols’ football program under Josh Heupel is that family is front and center.

After every home game, there are numerous scenes of players and coaches sharing in the celebration of a win (or the disappointment of a loss…though that doesn’t happen often at Neyland Stadium under Heupel) with various family members.

When Heupel says it’s all about family at Tennessee, it’s not just lip service — it’s the reality of the culture that he and his staff have built at On Saturday, after the Vols’ 20-13 win against Texas A&M — the first win for Heupel at Tennessee when his team has scored fewer than 30 points — Heupel shared an awesome/hilarious moment with his daughter, Hannah, who is probably more of a college football expert than any of us who were watching the game on Saturday.

As Heupel embraced his daughter during the post-game celebration, he said “that’s the first time you’ve seen one of those in your life”.
