I am leaving tomorrow: my services are no longer needed in Ohio State Buckeyes

In 2024–25, the Ohio State Buckeyes have a lot to look forward to.
On Saturday, almost 80,000 fans witnessed an exciting 2024 Ohio State Buckeyes Spring Game against the Scarlet and Gray.

In the first half, Jim Knowles’ defense controlled the game and picked up two interceptions, while Chip Kelly’s first game call for the Buckeyes included two quarterbacks who loaded the stat sheet.

Quarterback Duel: Devin Brown vs. Will Howard

The rivalry for quarterbacks did not let down.

Two definitely stood out at The ‘Shoe on Saturday, out of the five still vying for a starting position.
Will Howard, a senior transfer from Kansas State who started for the Wildcats and went 15-12 overall, made some excellent passes and made sound decisions throughout the game. Howard led the team in passing yards at the end of the game, finishing 9–13 for 77 yards.

However, the most “experienced” quarterback on the Buckeyes, junior Devin Brown, played as though his top priority was to be the quarterback. While reading through his progressions, Brown scored two large runs and got the ball out fast.

The native of Gilbert, Arizona, started the game with a nice toss to junior receiver David Adolph in double coverage. In the second quarter, he found sophomore receiver Brennen Schramm for the game’s first score.

Brown, who lost to former quarterback Kyle McCord in a close contest last season, will undoubtedly face another tough quarterback fight.

RB Dixon Williams

Sam Williams-Dixon, an entering freshman, had a tremendous day. By the first drive of the fourth, he had nine rushes for 72 yards and a touchdown.
