Kentucky have made a club record trade deal

This man makes a ton of sense, and the Kentucky Wildcats are searching the transfer gate for guards that fit into Coach Mark Pope’s system.

TJ Bamba, a former Villanova guard who averaged 10.1 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game the previous season, was contacted by the Kentucky coaching staff. Bamba scored 15.1 points per game on average while at Villanova the previous season.

He is a really talented shooter; this season, he fired 36.9% from beyond the arc for the Villanova Wildcats. At 6’5, he is also a bigger guard, which facilitates his movement to the rim. Bamba also had an amazing percentage of 82.4% when he was shooting free throws. If Bamba chooses Kentucky, that will be useful in close games.
His selection of the top six universities, which includes Florida, Oregon, Louisville, Stanford, Memphis, and Kentucky, was released recently.

For Coach Pope’s coaching team, getting Bamba to visit the school will be crucial going forward. Now that he is concentrating on six colleges, Bamba seems to be slowing down his recruitment, so get him on campus as soon as you can.

Another factor that attracts college coaches to Bamba is his extensive college basketball playing history. The fact that Kentucky’s roster will be incredibly senior in 2024–25 should excite Big Blue Nation.
The Wildcats’ early NCAA Tournament exit was caused by their inexperienced team from the previous season.

Coach Pope will see to it that there are plenty of veterans on his first Kentucky roster as head coach. When this season’s roster is assembled, Bamba is a name to keep in mind.
