What a great lost: Kentucky will never forget this lost

In the portal is another former five-star player from Kentucky.
Point guard DJ Wagner made his intentions to leave Lexington known via the transfer portal, meaning the Kentucky Wildcats have now lost another former five-star recruit.
In Lexington, Wagner had an inconsistent season while performing admirably despite a history of injuries.
He was having the greatest basketball of the season in SEC play when he was out for a while due to an additional ankle injury. Following that, he had some difficulties finishing the game. Whether Wagner can improve his three-point shooting at his new place will be interesting to see.

He is a skilled driver who, with the addition of a reliable three-point shooting, might be an NBA All-Star.

According to some NBA scouts, Wagner’s jump shot is a problem for his predictions at the next level. One of the top players from the previous year’s recruiting class will either need to be found or won’t be an NBA player.

Wagner is willing to talk to several institutions and is considering all of his choices. It’s already safe to anticipate that Coach Calipari will make an effort to bring Wagner to Arkansas. While this is a possibility, Wagner will consider all proposals and may be able to start over somewhere else.

If Wagner can just become a bit more reliable with his shooting, he has the potential to be a terrifying sight in collegiate basketball.
