What a Tragedy: Golden State Warriors TO FACE A SERIOUS POINT DEDUCTION DUE TO……..

It’s not with Klay anymore. Draymond is losing it. Steph feels irritated. The most expensive squad in the league is retiring after four NBA championships.
A passage from Simone Weil’s 1940 article “The Illiad, or The Poem of Force,” which discusses Homer, the blind poet who wrote the epic of the Trojan battle, has always resonated with me: “The Iliad’s war progress is merely a never-ending game of seesaw.” The winner of the moment fails to recognize that triumph is a fleeting state and believes himself to be unbeatable, even though he may have lost a few hours before.

Once, the Golden State Warriors appeared unbeatable. Not at all, now. Five years ago, when they won their third title in four years and appeared to be the most dominant NBA team possible, nobody could have predicted this. But as we are repeatedly taught by every new basketball dynasty, pride comes before fall. Everyone finally passes away depressed.

One of the NBA players that helped define this generation’s style the most was Klay Thompson. Even if Steph Curry brought in modernism and LeBron James was the best player, your thoughts always turned to Klay when it came to the players on your squad who weren’t good enough. Why are they unable to match Klay’s size? Just as skilled in defense? Why are they unable to simply shoot and move off the ball like Klay, stop demanding the ball constantly, and stop feeling the need to show themselves by engaging in ridiculous dribbling antics? He became an inevitable Hall of Famer because he was so skilled at playing a part.
